All students in the Program of Veterinary Technology are required to purchase and wear the following uniform to all veterinary technology lectures, laboratories and field trips:

1. Ceil blue* V-neck scrub shirt and scrub pants.
   -Can be ordered from Veterinary Apparel Company, or purchase elsewhere

2. When needed, white shirts should be worn under the scrub top; this is particularly recommended if the V-neck hangs too low.

3. Comfortable white sneakers or white nursing shoes.

4. Name tag ordered from Veterinary Apparel Company
   -Two (2) lines, white with black letters that reads:
   -“Your first and last name
   -Manor College VT Student”
   -Magnetic name tags are preferred
   -Must be worn in VT229 and as directed by instructors in all other classes

5. Wrist watch with second hand or digital display.

6. Navy blue* wrap-around unisex lab coat, ordered from Veterinary Apparel Company
   - This lab coat must be worn during laboratories and by freshman in the pinning ceremony. It does not have to be worn to lectures.

7. For Large Animal Clinical Procedures classes (VT105), you will need:
   - Navy Blue* coveralls ordered from Veterinary Apparel Company.  Short or long sleeve is acceptable.
   - Sturdy leather work boots

* No other color may be used.

Nails, Make-up and Jewelry:
Students must maintain very short fingernails and may not wear nail polish.  Make-up and jewelry must be minimal.  If at all possible, tattoos should be concealed.  When in laboratories and on field trips, no jewelry of any kind may be worn (including body piercings) and long hair should be pulled back.

2. To order scrubs, click on “Apparel” and then on the “Dickies” link which is listed under “Solid Scrubs.” You will want to order the “1720 unisex scrub top” and the “1725 unisex scrub pants” in ceil blue. You may choose to order the Elastic Waist Pant (1726) instead of the Unisex Scrub Pant.  You may also select a free emblem (either “A” or “D”).

3. To order a lab coat, click on “Apparel” and then on the “Unisex” link listed under “Lab Coats.” You will want to order the “107 Unisex Wrap-around Coat” in navy blue.

4. To order coveralls, click on “Apparel” and then on the “Coveralls” link listed under “Outerwear.” Order a long sleeved coverall (style #108B) in navy blue.

5. To order a name badge, click on “Accessories” and then on “ID Badges” listed under “General.” Select Badge with emblem (213), white with black letters. On the first line, type in your first and last name. You should use the name by which you wish to be called. For example, if your name is Catherine, but everyone calls you “Katie”, then use your nick-name Katie on the badge. On the second line, type “Manor College VT Student.” If you wish to have a magnetic back for your name tag, be sure to select that also.

 6. When finished, click on the icon to buy. You will see an itemization of your purchases with a shipping and handling fee. Arrange to have the uniform shipped to your home. Allow 2 weeks for shipping.
