The Program of Veterinary Technology seeks a half-time Program Assistant who will be responsible for providing organizational support to the Program’s director, faculty and students. Hours are somewhat flexible, but would ideally be: Monday –Thursday 10am to 3pm. Office organization, filing, Xeroxing, data entry and administrative support would be required. Some lab organization may also be needed. Candidates should have excellent organizational, verbal, reading and writing skills, the ability to take initiative and think independently, and strong interpersonal aptitude. Candidates must also be neat, efficient and competent using Microsoft Office, and possess the ability to learn new data management software. Applicants with bachelor degrees and those who feel comfortable working with animals would be particularly well suited for this position.

The Program of Veterinary Technology seeks adjunct instructors for the following courses:
- VT212 Animal Radiology - one two-hour laboratory in animal radiology this fall (2010). The lab is currently scheduled for Wednesday 2:00-3:50pm. Classes begin the Tuesday after Labor Day. Applicants may be either a certified veterinary technician or a veterinarian.
- VT204 Small Animal Dentistry - a two hour clinical laboratory for sophomore students in Animal Dentistry (VT204) during the spring semester, 2011. The course offers students a hands-on laboratory in small animal dentistry. Oral examination, dental charting, dental radiography and prophylactic care will be addressed. This is a new course for the Program. The Spring semester begins on January 10, 2011 and concludes on April29, 2011.

State College Veterinary Hospital is looking for a full time experienced/licensed technician to start August 2010. We are looking for a self-motivated, energetic, experienced person to join our three doctor practice. Duties would include placing IVC's, pulling blood, medicating animals, assisting doctors in the exam rooms and surgery, assisting clients, and walking & feeding some boarders. Must be available holiday and weekend hours.
A Second part time position will also be available in October 2010 to cover some materinty leave, with possibility of turning into a long term posititon. Same duties apply

Full-time and part-time experienced veterinary technicians/ assistants needed for a busy after-hours emergency clinic in Greenville, NC. We are a progressive hospital and utilize our technicians to their full potential. Accordingly, good skills and experience are important for this position.
