Dr. Pachtinger is a 2005 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, where he also completed an internship in small animal medicine & surgery and a specialty internship in emergency & critical care in 2006.  He is currently Chief Resident of Emergency & Critical Care at the Matthew J. Ryan Veterinary Hospital at the University of Pennsylvania.  In Fall 2010, Dr. Pachtinger will be joining VSEC as a full-time, board-certified emergency & critical care clinician.

SPEAKER: Jennifer MacLeod, DVM, DACVS
Dr. Jennifer Smelstoys MacLeod graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 1999.  After completing two internships, Dr. MacLeod returned to her alma mater, completing a residency in small animal surgery before becoming board-certified by the American College of Veterinary Surgery. Dr. MacLeod served as an assistant professor of small animal surgery at the University of California Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital for 3 years before joining VSEC.
