BassertI am Dr. Bassert and I am a 1989 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, School of Veterinary Medicine. I first came to Manor College in 1992 as the Education Coordinator and in 1993, became the Program's Director. Over the years, I have been pleased to watch the Program grow and have had fun designing the curriculum and the clinical laboratory facilities. I enjoy getting to know my students and love "heading down to the barn" when I get a chance. In addition, I have been pleased to help develop Manor's first Internet-based course and Manor's first program web-site. I have taught a wide range of courses over the years and presently teach Introduction to Veterinary Technology (VT103) and Anatomy and Physiology Laboratories. I enjoy working on a wide range of educational projects such a writing textbooks, producing teaching videos and developing educational CDS. Below are some examples of my work. In my free time, I like to travel, read and paint impressionistic landscapes.
