Directions
Most laboratories will occur at the Motherhouse Barn adjacent to the College campus. However, laboratories that involve working with cattle, sheep and hogs will occur at Fox Chase Farm, which is located about two miles from campus. Your instructor will let you know throughout the semester when laboratories will meet at Fox Chase Farm. You will need to drive or bike to the Fox Chase Farm. If you do not have a car, you may arrange car-pooling with other students.

Motherhouse Farm:

Address:
710 Fox Chase Road
Jenkintown, PA 19046
Barn: (215) 379-3998

As you leave campus from the Main Entrance of the College, turn right onto the driveway heading into the convent property. Bear RIGHT at the “Sisters of Saint Basil” sign. Where the driveway takes a sharp turn to the right, you will bear LEFT, through the gate and down the hill toward the barn. Park your car by the horse trailers or on the grass by the hay-barn. However, be careful NOT to block the door to the hay barn or the drive to the lower barn. Enter the lower barn through the large red door. This door SLIDES to the right. Do not try to pull it open. You will need to yank HARD to the right to get the door to slide.  The classroom for VT105 is a converted box stall, half way down the aisle on the right.

Fox Chase Farm:

Address:
Daryl Wampler (Farmer)
8500 Pine Road
Rockledge, PA 19046
Office: (215) 728-7026
Cell: (267) 784-3176

From the College’s main entrance turn right onto Fox Chase Road and cross Cedar Avenue. Before Fox Chase Road connects with Huntingdon Pike, take the LEFT fork and stop at the light by the Hollywood Tavern (Dominos Pizza is on your RIGHT). Cross Huntingdon Pike and follow Shady Lane. Stay on Shady Lane until it dead-ends onto a large highway called Pine Road. Turn LEFT onto Pine Road and go a very short distance (a few hundred yards). Fox Chase Farm is on the LEFT. Be careful, because the entrance is hard to see. Follow the drive SLOWLY through the gate and toward designated parking areas behind the barns.
